May 11 seems a long way off in this chilly March morning, but time goes by quickly. Here is a little peek into the mysterious world of publishing – Senior Moment goes to print on April 27, so there needs to be a bit of time to get the book onto store and library shelves before I tease you all by reading from it. Hence: May 11.
Another whole issue: I haven’t been in public – as public as unmasked-online-reading-in-public – in months. Yikes! I feel the onset of pandemic physiognomy panic! At least a May 11 date gives me ten whole weeks to pull myself together. But just watch – despite a haircut and a healthy diet, I will break out in youthful pimples the day before.
